Embedable Playlists - Introduction

WildCast.TV now allows you to embed your playlists on your website, blog, and/or social networking (myspace, camospace, etc...) profiles!

"Why do I need to embed a playlist?"
That’s a good question! There are several reasons to embed a playlist instead of an individual video. The best reason I can think of is to showcase all of your videos in one player. Visitors to your website or Myspace profile can watch all of your videos uninterrupted, or select any of your videos from the list at any point while they are watching!

You are not just limited to your videos, you can use any video on WILDCAST.tv. Simply add any video to your playlist, and it will show up in your playlist. There is no limit to the number of videos you can have in a playlist, and you can have as many playlists as you want!

Here is a list of reasons to use embed your playlist:

• Showcase your videos on your website and/or Myspace profile
• Takes up less space. Show several videos on your Myspace profile or blog with only one player!
• People are likely to watch more of your videos in playlist format than they would with individual players.
• Customizable player
• Looks Cool!

Playlist Player (Tall)

This player features a playlist below the player. It works well with narrow page layouts like what you see on social networking sites like Myspace or Camospace.

Embedding a playlist is very easy!

All you need to do is open one of your existing playlists and copy the provided embed code!

• Click "My Playlists" in the navigation menu at the top of WildCast.TV.  Note: You must be logged in to see the link.  Also it is not visible from the forum.

• You will see the playlist selection screen.  Select one of your playlists from the "My Play Lists" selection menu, select one of the options (Play list or Show List) and click SUBMIT.  Note: The playlist will not work properly if you do not select Play List or Show List before proceeding to the next step.
  

• I will select "Show List" however you can select either Play List or Show List and it will work.
• Now at the bottom you will see two fields.  "Embed Playlist (Tall)" and "Embed Playlist (Wide)".   Highlight the embed code in the field for the player you wish to use and press Ctrl+V on your keyboard to copy.  Then paste it in your website or blog just like you would a normal player embed code!
